I strive to give back to our community and involve myself with volunteer and charitable activities here in Wilmette. For example, I have served three terms on the New Trier School Board Caucus, including serving as the Wilmette co-chair for the Caucus in 2024. I have served as a Park District volunteer, a civic volunteer at special events in Wilmette, and with our D39 schools, including volunteering for McKenzie Elementary School and Highcrest Middle School along with the D39 Foundation.
Below are some of my more recent volunteer activities:
- 3 Term Member of the New Trier School Board Caucus (2020, 2022 and 2024), including Wilmette Co-Chair in 2024
- District 39 Foundation volunteer, including long-time BINGO caller at the D39 Bingo Night fundraiser
- Park District volunteer, including multi-year coaching for boys and girls soccer and flag football
- McKenzie Elementary School volunteer, including co-chair of the Welcoming Committee
- Wilmette Block Party volunteer
- National President of the Bates College Alumni Association
